Book 1 is The Name Of The Wind
Book 2 is A Wise Man's Fear
It's seriously some of the best writing out there right now.

He's gotten into working out the past few years since being rail skinny pre GW Law now he's like a short Dwayne Johnson that's really all I know. Oh oh oh he really likes Michigan wolverines football from his undergrad years. Michael Chriton-esque books is really all I coukd think of
